New campaign: Call for a Leadership Team
The 2007 seminar in Volos saw the launching of a new EYCE long-term project: The "Inter-religious Campaign Against Fundamentalism" is EYCE's thematical focus programme for the next three years. Call for participants: Tearing down the walls
Apply now for EYCE's first 2008 event! The training course “Tearing down the walls – a training course on overcoming conflict and stimulating reconciliation in Europe” will be held at the Corrymeela Centre, Ballycastle, Northern Ireland from the 22nd to the 27th June 2008. Migration & youth: a hot topic at the YFJ Council of Members
The European Youth Forum (YFJ) gathered representatives from its 97 Member Organisations for the Council of Members meeting (COMEM) to reflect on the work achieved by the youth movement over the last six months and shape the future activity of their platform. Intercultural dialogue: response to which problems?
The first of a series of four seminars dedicated to Islam, Christianity and Europe, the seminar held on 17 April 2008 in the European Parliament (Brussels) took the form of a panel discussion among Islamic and Christian experts. What is needed for “Promoting the Participation of Young People with Fewer Opportunities”? This question was widely discussed at the Slovenian EU Presidency Youth Event in Ljubljana and Brdo pri Kranju, 18th – 21st April 2008. Inter-religious issues in Coyote #13
Once or twice a year, the joint Bullet1Youth Partnership programme of the Council of Europe and the European Commission issues a magazine: Coyote treats all kinds of issues around "Youth-Training-Europe". European Christian-Muslim Conference planned
In response to the kind invitation by the Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest (Hungary) and President of the Council of Bishops’ Conferences of Europe (CCEE) Cardinal Péter Erdo, a meeting of the CCEE-CEC Committee for Relations with Muslims in Europe (CRME) will take place from 17th to 20th April in Esztergom. CRME is an Ecumenical Committee set up in 1986 by the Conference of European Churches (CEC) and CCEE. EYCE Searching for Volunteer!
Would you like to live in Brussels for one year? EYCE is searching for a voluteer for 2009. As volunteer in the EYCE office you will get deeply into European ecumenical youth work, especially in the field of Economic Justice and Youth Employment in the context of Migration. The European Voluntary Service programme will cover board and lodging, a monthly allowance and a language course. Are you curious? Interested? Please contact the EYCE office for information before 15th of May 2008!
