| Experiencing communion: The youth blog of the Lutheran World Federation |
|
Christians around the world belong together. However, it is not easy to experience that. There seems to be so much that seperates us.
|
| |
The new youth blog of the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) attempts to make worldwide communion an every day reality. Alexandra from Colombia tells about her difficulties to find a job, Benny from Indonesia is preparing herself for her first assignment as a seminary teacher, Ray from the USA is involved in service projects in many parts of the world before he is confined to the textbooks at his school's library.
Young adults tell about their life, their faith, their church, about topics they are concerned about.
In addition, there are current news. Emily who works for the United Nations office of the LWF contributes stories about youth participation on the international level and Roger writes about news and opportunities from the ecumenical world.
To be sure, the LWF youth blog is not just for Lutherans. Everybody can post a comment and join the conversation so that the world wide church gets real every day.
