âŞOur campaign becomes lively in our seminars and training courses. Our workshops at the Ecumenical Kirchentag will introduce the Campaign to young people from Germany and all over Europe. Inter-religious dialogue becomes practical and we want to encourage people to get involved,✠says Catharina Covolo, Vice-Chairperson of EYCE and member of the preparatory team.
From 12th to 16th May 2010, over 100.000 participants will gather in Munich to hold the second Ecumenical Kirchentag (âŞÃ–kumenischer Kirchentagâœ). With the theme âŞThat you may have hope✠(I Peter 1,21) people from the whole of Germany and from all over the world will join together in promoting ecumenism, giving it a human face and advancing co-operation between Christians.
EYCEâ™s workshops will be situated in the Youth Centre of the Ecumenical Kirchentag, a place where mostly young people will offer information stands, workshops and activities to young visitors. The concrete venue of the workshops will be published on www.eyce.org in due time. |
