Unmuted – Youth, Faith and Participation in Europe | 8-14 June 2026 in Malaga, Spain

What does meaningful youth participation actually look like across Europe? Who gets to speak, shape decisions, and influence church life — and who is still struggling to be heard?

“Unmuted – Youth, Faith and Participation in Europe” brings together young Christians from diverse denominations, countries, and backgrounds to explore exactly these questions. Through exchange, dialogue, workshops, and shared reflection, participants will map different realities of youth participation within churches and Christian organisations across Europe.

The seminar creates a space to share experiences, learn from one another, and critically reflect on the opportunities and barriers young people encounter in their communities. By connecting different perspectives and participation models, the activity aims to strengthen young people’s ability to advocate for meaningful involvement, inclusive structures, and stronger youth voices within church and society.

At the heart of the seminar is the belief that participation should not depend on your background, church or older individuals who are passionate about youth. Young people deserve spaces where their voices matter, where they can contribute actively, and where they can shape the future together.

The application process is already done and the meeting is taking place in June.
