How can we advocate for more Youth Participation in our churches? How can we support each other in the struggle to being heard and to actually bring about change through the ideas of young people?
Apply now to explore the opportunities, to help us in creating common standards for Youth Participation in Europe and to make sure, that young people can have their say! From 31 August to 6 September 2026, we will discuss and work on these questions and issues through non-formal education, relationship-building and shared stories. Young people are here now and they deserve their spots at the table in churches, Christian (youth) organisations and ecumenical councils. We invite up to 20 participants to join this challenge.
- Participation Fee: 100€ (includes board and lodging)
- Travel Costs: Will be fully reimbursed. Approval needed before booking your travels.

- You should be between 18 and 30 years old and a resident of a Council of Europe member state. (There is limited space for exceptions)
- We look forward to create a group with young Christians from different places in Europe that bring together different denominational backgrounds, cultures, professions and many more, to look at the topic of the activity with a broad range of perspectives. And of course to spend time together, eat, pray and share a week of community across different cultural and denominational boundaries.
Important to note: 31 August and 6 September are reserved for travelling. The activity itself is happening from 1-5 September. We will be staying at the youth hostel in Dortmund (Silberstraße 24-26, 44137 Dortmund, Germany). Accommodation is in shared rooms.
We appreciate applications from people of all backgrounds. The only requirements to participate in this event are experience in youth leadership and a commitment to it, or a strong will to advocate for it.
So, only thing left to do is to apply!
