Dear friend,

We are super happy to share this opportunity with you. This is a call for participants and we are thankful for you sharing it with your networks so that we can welcome many people from our member organisations and beyond:

We are excited to extend an invitation to you to participate in "The shelter we seek" event in Malaga, Spain. This event aims to delve into critical reflections on church as a safer space from June 3-9.

Here are the key details:

Event: "The shelter we seek - A critical reflection on church as safer space"

Location: Malaga, Spain

Dates: June 3-9

Participation Fee: €50 (includes board and lodging)

Travel Costs: As per our travel reimbursement policy, we kindly request a contribution from you or your organization. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require financial assistance. We believe that no one should be unable to participate due to financial reasons.

The event will host up to 20 passionate participants who are committed to creating safer spaces in church and youth work.

So you may ask: What will we do there? To reach our goal we will take a look into discrimination and it different shapes. We will reflect on our own contexts to see how this is relevant for us and we will share and learn different methods to tackle this issue as we are convinced, there is still a long way to go for church to be in the image of God.

And besides that there is also time to simply enjoy Spain, the time together and to get to know people from different cultures and denominations.
