Today we want to offer you another great opportunity to participate in an ecumenical project and experience ecumenical spirit in a very practical setting – through the work camps offered by Ecumenical Youth Services!
 
Ecumenical Youth Services is an international volunteer program in Germany. EYS was founded in the 1950s in the GDR and is now administered by the Office for Evangelical Children and Youth Work in Berlin-Brandenburg-schlesische Oberlausitz.
 
The work camps organised by EYS provide an opportunity for young people from all over Europe to meet and work together in an international context on meaningful, socially relevant projects.
 
Conditions for participation:

  • EYS is for young people between 17 and 26 years.
  • Food, board and group activities are paid for by EYS and all participants have liability insurance while working in the camps.
  • Participants from Great Britain, Czech Republic and Poland will receive a subsidy of 20€/person for their travel expenses.
  • Participants from Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and Ukraine will receive a subsidy of 40€/person for their travel expenses.
  • We request an application fee of 15,00€
