Training course “personal integrity and good leadership”

Do you want to become a youth leader ? Do you want to create safe environments for young people to explore their identities, and educate them in acceptance and understanding of others? 

 

EYCE invite you to join the training course “Personal integrity and good leadership”.

The aim of the training course is empowering young leaders to find their personal integrity and to provide them with tools to multiply this knowledge among young people in their national churches.

Therefore, the following objectives will be some of the topics of the training course:

  • Discovering and accepting sensitive parts of one’s identity as a necessary step of gaining confidence
  • Turning vulnerability into strength as a tool of empowerment
  • Providing soft skills (communication skills, team management and leadership, project management,…)
  • Discussing leadership tools and methods
  • Creating guidelines for young leaders in churches and other social contexts

 

WHEN   14th and 20th November 2016

WHERE   Vilnius, Lithuania.

WHO   Leadership can be very diverse! Therefore we are looking for participants from 18-30 years old from different backgrounds : youth work, creative occupations, church leaders, activism and more!

LANGUAGE   English.

It will be essential for all the participants to understand and speak English in order to take full advantage of the training course.

COSTS    The participation fee will be 50 € including accommodation, meals and the programme.

TRAVEL SUBSIDIES    The travel expenses can be reimbursed according to the EYCE policies. Please do not buy any tickets prior to the confirmation of your participation, agreement with EYCE office and visa acknowledgement (if applicable)! We also advise you to look for alternative ways to support your travel costs!

Please note that a health insurance is NOT arranged by EYCE!

VISA    Some of you may need a visa to enter in Lithuania! Please check immediately with the Lithuanian Embassy or Consulate in your country whether this is the case and see www.eyce.org/service/documents about the details of procedure.
