BE ECO HEROES! Campaign Coordination Team offers training on ecological justice!

Campaign Ecological Justice Square DrawingEYCE’s Campaign to Promote Ecological Justice is in its third year and we are looking towards contributing to sustainable societies and making EYCE more sustainable. Knowing your involvement in youth work and ecumenism we want to propose a programme to be provided to your organisation. In the framework of the campaign we, as a team of trainers working on the topic of ecology, would like to promote ecological awareness among young people.

Do you think there is an event (youth camp, youth gathering etc.) organised by you in your country where our expertise would be useful? In case you are interested, we can visit you during the respective event and provide a programme according to your needs.

We can offer various activities in a diverse range of themes:

  • ecology and Christianity – why ecology?
  • sustainable consumers and their behaviours
  • environmental advocacy and its basics
  • climate change: facts and myths
  • green activities for youth
  • eco-justice – what? where? whom for?
  • green crafts – sustainable ways of expressing your artistic needs

The methods we use are based on non-formal education, active participation and learning by doing. This approach brings a good balance between knowledge and practice and ensures effective learning process

Please note, that inviting us to your activity will be FREE of charge . We will be available for joining your activities May to September 2013. In case you are interested or you know about an event where our services could be helpful, please contact us on benjamin.mlynek@eyce.org!
