Being Broke isn’t Woke: Tackling Youth Poverty
Next year, 2025, we will hold an event with the title: Being Broke isn’t Woke: Tackling Youth Poverty. This initiative will bring together young people from across Europe to engage in dialogue, exchange best practices, learn together and develop ways to tackle youth poverty both locally and Europe-wide.
Youth poverty is a pressing issue across Europe, hindering young people’s opportunities and perpetuating social inequalities. The event welcomes 20 participants from diverse backgrounds. The location will be revealed in spring 2025, and applications for participants will open in the same season. This project aims to:
- Raise awareness about youth poverty and its root causes.
- Foster a shared understanding of the challenges and potential solutions.
- Empower young people to take action against poverty in their communities.
